Why are my Sophos Endpoint services not running?

Your client may require that you install Sophos Endpoint defense on your laptop. However, some Sophos services requiring system-level access to detect and clean threats are not granted automatically. Although this rarely occurs, the commonly affected services are:

• SophosScanDLegacy
• SophosCryptoGuardLegacy
• SophosEventMonitorLegacy
• SophosWebIntelligenceLegacy

If that sounds like you, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Navigate to System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
2. Click on the Privacy tab.
3. Select Full Disk Access from the left-hand pane.
4. Click on the padlock at the bottom left to authenticate and allow changes.
5. Click on the  '+'  (Add an application) icon and on the next prompt.
