Refer your friends to join our Andela Talent Cloud network, where you'll earn some cash when you refer top-quality technologists!

Program details

For every successful referral, you can earn up to $1,000 USD. This bonus is distributed based on the engagement length and specific payment milestones (see "Referral bonus structure" below). Please also refer to the referral program rules article for additional information. 

What makes a successful referral?

A successful referral is one that:

1. Successfully completes all assessments in our recruiting processes
2. Joins the Andela Talent Cloud network
3. Begins their first engagement within twelve (12) months of joining the network
4. Spends more than thirty days working on their first client engagement

Who can I refer?

We are currently looking for senior-level talent with 5+ years of professional experience within the following core stacks:

• Gen AI Engineers: Expertise in LLMs and RAG

• Data Engineers: Databricks-certified or equivalent (highly beneficial)

• Software Architects: Strong Java background (and other core stacks)

• Azure DevOps specialists

• Python software engineers (AI/ML focused)

Referral bonus structure

The payout schedule depends on the type of engagement the referred talent starts:

• Standard Engagements (6+ months): $500 after Month 1 and $500 after Month 6.

• Short-term Engagements (3–5 months): $500 after Month 1 and a $500 "carry-over" payout after Month 1 of their second engagement (if within 1 year of joining).

• Short-term Engagements (1–3 months): A single $500 payout after Month 1.

  Pro-tip: Make sure to claim your bonus or ask questions within 12 months of your friend’s start date! We can’t process payouts for referrals older than a year, so don't wait too long to reach out.

How can I refer someone?

1. Ask your friend to visit the Andela Talent Cloud sign-up page and ask them to fill in their information.
2. On the resume page, have your referral select "Referral by Andelan" from the dropdown menu.
3. Referrals must input your personal email associated with your Andela account in the following text box so you can receive credit for the referral.
