Applying to join the Andela Talent Cloud requires the successful completion of three application steps:
1. English proficiency
2. Technical skills test
3. A live technical interview
These steps are designed to evaluate your technical skills, as well
as your fit with Andela's culture and values. We also have application requirements
listed below to ensure your success!
Application requirements
- First and foremost, make sure that you're eligible to apply to our network.
- Review our reasons for application disqualification so you are in the know.
- Complete any tests independently, without any assistance from other people or resources. This is extremely important for us to evaluate your individual skills and potential. Using external materials, such as code from external sources or collaboration with other people, is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
- Proctoring image quality for skills tests should always be high quality and visible, or it may result in a disqualification and need to wait 90 days before reapplying.
- Turn on your camera for identification purposes. In doing this, you agree to be recorded throughout the assessment.
- Ensure your camera is running and your face is visible and clear at all times. If you refuse to turn on your webcam, you will be disqualified.
- Confirm that your internet, camera, and microphone are working before the start of any assessment. (After enabling your webcam, click .... include screenshot) For example, if the picture isn't clear or you're experiencing sound issues, you might need to buy an external camera with a built-in microphone before any tests.
- Secure a quiet and distraction-free environment to take your skills tests. This will help you focus and perform better.
- If you currently have any tools active that cannot be immediately disabled, such as AI code assistants, AI interview assistants, or note-taking apps, you may request to reschedule the interview for a time when your environment is clear of such tools.
