Can I participate if I’m already on an engagement?
Yes! You’re welcome to participate in Flex Squad even if you’re currently on an active engagement.
Can I participate if I’ve never been matched with an Andela client before?
Yes! You don’t need any prior client-matching history with Andela to apply. Flex Squad is open to you regardless of whether you’ve been matched before.
What if my tech stack isn’t Python?
While our current client, Snorkel AI, is looking for Python technologists, the squad is growing fast, and we will have a wide variety of tech stacks and skill requirements. Keep an eye on ATC and our announcements. There will be opportunities for many different skill sets soon!
Do I have to complete the assessment?
Yes. This is a required step in the Flex Squad application process. It helps us match you fairly and consistently to the right opportunities, and every applicant goes through the same process.
What happens if I don’t pass the assessment? Can I retake it?
Yes, you can retake it! There’s a 180-day cooling-off period before you’re eligible to retake the assessment. We’d encourage you to use that time to sharpen your skills, then come back and give it another go.
I’m having an issue with my assessment. How do I get help?
If you run into a problem or want to appeal an assessment outcome, email the team directly at candidates@woventeams.com. :e_mail: They’ll get back to you within 72 hours at the most. Whether it’s a technical glitch, a question about your results, or an appeal, that’s your go-to channel for anything assessment-related.

Our match team will reach out to you when we’re ready to onboard you to the flex squad - this may take a week or two, depending on task supply.
Why do I see a status of “not shortlisted”?
If you see a status of “not shortlisted,” don’t worry - you’re still under consideration unless you see a “rejected or removed” status. We know this is a bit confusing, so we’ll be making product updates within the next few weeks to improve the process. Thank you for your patience.
