To help you stay on track, we’ve outlined the entire journey below so you know exactly what to expect and what to focus on at each stage.
KCNA - Program structure: step-by-step 🚀
Here’s how we’ve structured the program:
- Complete the readiness form: After receiving your congratulatory program invitation, this is the first step to officially confirm your interest and eligibility. Once submitted, we’ll process your details and prepare your course voucher.
- Receive your LFS250 course voucher: After your readiness form is reviewed, you’ll be emailed a voucher to start the LFS250: Kubernetes and Cloud Native Essentials course.
- Complete the LFS250 course: Work through the course at your own pace, but aim to stay consistent. This course provides the foundation you’ll need to succeed on the certification path.
- Note: You must complete the LFS250 course by the end of July.
- Receive your KCNA Exam Voucher: After you finish the course, you will receive your voucher on the next business day. However, if you complete the course after the 25th of the month, you will receive your voucher on the first business day of the following month. See the schedule below:
- Complete the course after April 25 → Receive voucher on May 1
- Complete the course after May 25 → Receive voucher on June 1
- Complete the course after June 25 → Receive voucher on July 1
- Complete the course after July 25 → Receive voucher on August 1
Note: We highly recommend taking the mock assessment to prepare for your exam, as you will have only one attempt to pass.
Note: If you do not pass, we will provide one 40% discount coupon for the exam fee per person.
IMPORTANT: If we receive more than 2,000 course completions in a given month, vouchers may be issued in the following month.
CKAD - Program structure: step-by-step 🚀
- Complete the readiness form: After receiving your congratulatory program invitation, this is the first step to officially confirm your interest and eligibility. Once submitted, we’ll process your details and prepare your coupon discount.
- Pay your certification: You will pay US $285 (discounted from US $445) for the CKAD via a dedicated Linux Foundation portal to get access to the exam. You will have 1 year to complete the exam.
- LFD 259 course and exam: You’ll have two chances to pass the exam. If it doesn’t work out after that, unfortunately, there won’t be any additional attempts.
