Identification Verification (IDV) is an onboarding requirement before starting a job. You will undergo an IDV screening process through a third-party platform called Veriff.
When the process starts, an email will be sent to your personal email address so you can register and complete the application. There are different types of IDV statuses, and you will proceed accordingly depending on each situation:
- Approved: All is well, and you have been verified!
- Resubmission: You're in this status if a problem occurs. Please submit a request for our Operations team to check with Veriff directly about the issue.
- Declined: Same as resubmission status.
- Opted Out: You can select this option to opt out of the process. To do that, please email talent-operations@andela.com to make your request.

Why is my application being declined or requested for resubmission?
Most of the time applications get declined if the image is not of the best quality and/or applicants upload screenshots. Pictures must be of the highest quality and not a screenshot of a picture.
