What learning resources will I use?
We've selected two key resources to help you master GitHub Copilot:
- Microsoft Applied Skills: Accelerate app development by using GitHub Copilot
- Copilot Learning Program
How do I get my certification voucher?
You won't get your voucher until you've completed the learning modules and passed the required assessment. Here's how it works:
- Complete all the provided learning resources.
- Take the Microsoft Applied Skills: Accelerate app development by using GitHub Copilot assessment.
- Get a passing score of 70% or higher.
- Share your certificate of completion with our team.
- We'll start distributing vouchers to eligible learners on September 15, 2025.
What if I fail the assessment?
No problem! You can retake the assessment. You just need to wait 72 hours after your first attempt.
Is the assessment the same as the certification exam?
No, they are two separate things.
- The assessment is the final evaluation at the end of the Microsoft Applied Skills course. You must pass this to get your voucher.
- The certification exam is the official, industry-recognized GitHub Copilot certification you take with your voucher.
Can I take the certification exam early?
Yes! As soon as you complete the learning modules and pass the Microsoft Applied Skills assessment, we'll issue your certification voucher and tell you how to schedule your exam. You can then take it at any time during the certification phase.
