Where did the "Ask Matchers" button go?

We’ve disabled the “Ask Matchers” button, which previously allowed one-on-one chats with hiring managers. This change is designed to enhance the experience for technologists by ensuring you receive more timely and accurate updates on your application status.

Why the Change?

Our match team is very small and could not keep up with the volume of incoming messages from technologists. This led to delays, inconsistencies, and ultimately, a frustrating experience for many. Based on overwhelming feedback from the technologist community, we made the difficult decision to remove this feature to prioritize clearer, more reliable communication.

What This Means for You

Going forward, please apply directly to roles through the Andela Talent Cloud. You’ll receive updates on your application status there, and if you’re shortlisted for a position, a matcher will proactively connect with you through our community platform.
