Access to Andela Platform (Personal email)

If you use your Andela email to log in, follow the next steps so you can transition to logging in with your personal email:

  1. Log in with your Andela email (If you know your personal email, go to step 4).
  2. Then head to your profile and check your personal email.
  3. Log out.
  4. Enter your personal email in the email address field (as shown in the attachment).

5. Click forgot password.

6. Enter the same personal email and click send recovery instructions. (You should get a confirmation that we've sent out to your personal email, check your inbox and spam folder).

7. You will have received an email that looks like this. Click reset password.

8. Enter your new password and click create my account. 

9. Return to and enter your personal email as step 4 with the new password you just entered.



Is my Andela account getting deactivated?  NO. Your Andela account will remain active. The only change happening is that you will be required to log in with your personal email address instead of your Andela email address.

Why is Andela requiring me to log in with personal email addresses?  It’s a high priority that you continue to have a streamlined experience. Instead of remembering multiple email credentials to log in to the Andela Talent Platform, you’ll only need one, your personal email address. 

Are Andela email addresses gone forever?  No! Going forward, temporary Andela email addresses will be provided when talent is entering an engagement with a client. Once the engagement ends, your temporary Andela email address will be deactivated.

If I’m in an engagement, which email address do I use to log in, my personal email address or my temporary Andela email address?  Only your personal email address will be accepted as a log in credential

Why am I receiving a temporary email address for an engagement if it will be revoked later?  Temporary email address are issued so talent can securely communicate with clients and receive important notifications and information. 

I used my personal email address, but the log in failed. What happened?  Make sure you’re entering the personal email address you originally used to create your Andela account. 

I tried to reset my password but never received a reset email. What should I do?  Please contact the support team for further assistance.
